Deandre Ellis died after a shooting in a West Englewood barbershop that left two others wounded Friday afternoon.
A group entered the barbershop in the 1900 block of West 59th and opened fire about 2 p.m., police said.
Ellis, 22, of the 5700 block of South Laflin Street, was shot in the chest and died at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn about an hour later, authorities said.
A 44-year-old man was also shot in the chest and a 31-year-old was shot in the hand, police said. Both were taken to area hospitals for treatment.
Nobody has been charged for the murder.
Area South detectives are investigating.
