Aaron J. Starling was found shot to death inside an apartment early Monday afternoon on the Near West Side.
Officers found Starling, 29, inside an apartment in the 2400 block of West Harrison about 12:45 p.m., according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office. The man had suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his back.
Starling lived on the same block he was shot, according to the medical examiner’s office.
He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead at 1:13 p.m., authorities said.
An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.
