A man was shot to death early Saturday in the South Chicago neighborhood.
The shooting happened about 4 a.m. in the 2400 block of East 79th Street, police said.
The man, 21, was unresponsive on the scene and had been shot multiple times in the head and body, police said.
He was identified as Jacoby Herron of the 7900 block of South Oglesby Avenue, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
No one is in custody as Area South detectives investigate.
