Richard Rodriquez and Jossean Rueda, both 19, were shot to death early Sunday in the West Side Austin neighborhood.
Rodriquez and Rueda were driving in the 1600 block of North Cicero about 3:50 a.m. when a light-colored vehicle pulled alongside and someone inside fired shots, police said.
Police said one of the victims was shot in the head and the other was shot multiple times in the body.
Rodriquez, of the 2300 block of North Keeler; and Rueda, of the 1100 bock of North Harding, were taken to Stroger Hospital, where they were pronounced dead, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
