Timothy Jones fatally shot in South Shore

Timothy Jones was shot to death Tuesday afternoon in the South Shore neighborhood.

Jones, 29, was outside in the 7200 block of South Exchange about 4 p.m. when someone walked up and shot him in the head, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Jones, who lived in the 1600 block of East 67th, was dead at the scene, authorities said.
