Man shot and killed in Englewood Wednesday morning

A man was shot and killed in Englewood Wednesday morning on the South Side.
The man was shot in the head just after 11 a.m. in the 7500 block of South Union Avenue, police said.
He was initially taken in critical condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he later died, police said. The Cook County Medical Examiner’s office confirmed the death, but did not release their identity.
Area South detectives are investigating, but nobody is in custody.
