31-year-old Erskin Palm found on Princeton Park sidewalk with fatal gunshot wounds

Erskin Palm was found shot to death Wednesday night in the Princeton Park neighborhood on the South Side.

Officers responded about 11:30 p.m. to the 9300 block of South LaSalle, where they found the 31-year-old on the sidewalk with gunshot wounds to the chest, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Palm, of the 7700 block of South Laflin, was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead about 45 minutes later, according to the medical examiner’s office.
