A man who was shot to death late Monday in a parked car in the Rogers Park neighborhood on the North Side has been identified as Giovani Salgado.The 21-year-old was found sitting in the passenger seat of the vehicle in the 6800 block of North Ridge about 11:50 p.m., according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Salgado had been shot in the chest and back, and was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, according to police and the medical examiner’s office.
An autopsy found he died of a gunshot wound to the chest.
