Pierre Payne and another man were killed, and a third man wounded in a shooting at an Englewood neighborhood party late Friday.
A male, whose exact age was not known, wasn’t allowed into the party, which was held in a garage in the 7400 block of South Eggleston, Chicago Police said.
He came back with a gun about 11:20 p.m. and shot three men, killing one.
The 32-year-old Payne was shot in the chest and was dead at the scene, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office. He lived in the 1900 block of East 71st Street.
A 35-year-old was shot several times in the torso and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he later died. His name had not been released as of Saturday morning.
A 45-year-old was shot in the left hip and was also taken to Stroger Hospital, police said. His condition had stabilized.
