Gerald Gordon was killed and another man was wounded in a shooting early Tuesday in the Roseland neighborhood on the Far South Side.
Officers heard loud reports at 12:37 a.m. and found the victims on the street with gunshot wounds in the 11100 block of South Michigan, according to Chicago Police.
Gordon, 19, was shot in the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene at 1 a.m., police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said. His home address was not known.
The other man, 22, was shot in the head, and was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
