Two men were shot to death after an apparent home invasion Sunday morning in the South Chicago neighborhood.
Chicago Police were called about 5 a.m. Sunday to an apartment building in the 9100 block of South Commerical Avenue. The caller said a man had been shot in a neighboring apartment and turned up at the neighbor’s door for help, police said.
The injured man collapsed in the neighbor’s apartment and was dead by the time officers arrived.
Police found a second man shot to death in the building. Both men were thought to be in their mid-30s and remained unidentified Monday morning.
Police are investigating the shooting as an apparent home invasion, police said.
Area South detectives are investigating.
