Willie Buie was fatally shot early Tuesday in a South Side alley.
Buie, 20, was standing with a group of males in an alley in the 7600 block of South Wallace Street when a gunman approached and opened fire at the group about 2:10 a.m., authorities said.
Buie, of the 7700 block of South Lowe Avenue, was shot in the head and body and died at the scene, authorities said.
Nobody has been charged in the murder.
Area South detectives are investigating.
