Markeyo Carr, 17, was fatally shot in a McDonald's parking lot last Wednesday in the Rogers Park neighborhood. Reader "saddened" tweeted this about him:
Markeyo was a good kid. I has him in some of my programs when he was younger and my husband taught where he went to school. Hanging with the wrong people at the wrong time. Rest in peace.
