Anthony Edwards was fatally shot early Thursday at a West Pullman gas station.
Edwards, 39, was walking in the 11600 block of South Michigan Avenue when a male walked up and opened fire about 3:15 a.m. Thursday, authorities said.
Edwards, of the 12000 block of South Normal Avenue, was shot several times and died at the scene, authorities said.
Nobody has been charged for the murder.
Area South detectives are investigating.
