A 16-year-old boy was shot to death Sunday night in the West Englewood neighborhood.
Jabari Scurlock was shot about 8:30 p.m. in the 5900 block of South Justine Street, police said.
Jabari, of the 1000 block of West 78th Street, was shot in the back and died at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County less than an hour later, authorities said.
Nobody has been charged for the murder.
Area Central detectives are investigating if the shooting is gang related.
